Modern slavery and human trafficking statement

The following outlines the steps that Remundo has taken to understand and minimise the potential risk of modern slavery in its business and supply chains.

This statement covers the business activities of Remundo a global hire service and software solutions platform.

We are committed to preventing modern-day slavery and human trafficking in all its forms. Remundo performs due diligence to ensure all workers have the right to work in the relevant country and are free to make their own choices.

Remundo is an innovative software solution providing services that enable companies to hire individuals in any country and meet all the legal requirements in doing so. As such, meeting compliance standards for every country is our baseline starting point.

We believe that every worker deserves to be paid fairly for their talent and productivity regardless of race, gender, status, or any other attribute. Providing workers with Work, and receiving remuneration for that work, is at the core of our business and we strive to ensure alignment of all our operations to this end.

Our service offering means we are in a unique position to significantly impact the working lives of people and the client organisations we work with.
Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of basic human rights.

Supply Chains
As an Employer of Record, Remundo Ltd provides services via an online platform with partners that provide employment compliance, IT support, and the provision of work benefits.

Remundo takes ethical employment very seriously and is committed to ensuring that no modern slavery or human trafficking is present in our supply chains or any other aspect of our day-to-day operations. We expect our suppliers, service providers and partners to be equally committed, and that they also ensure full compliance with all laws and regulations.

Policies and Procedures
Remundo has developed policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and ethical standards to underline our Zero tolerance approach to modern slavery.

Since our supply chains are limited, we assess ourselves as having a low risk of modern slavery in our business and supply chains. On the rare occasion where we use a third-party supplier, our contracts ask suppliers to warrant that they specifically comply with relevant legislation, codes of practice and good industry standards.

The following policies set down our approach to the identification of modern slavery risks and steps to be taken to prevent slavery and human trafficking in our operations and are available to all staff through links in our Employee Handbook.

Risk Monitoring and Compliance
Remundo monitors the performance of suppliers and reviews the supply chain regularly to identify areas of possible risk. We also have a code of conduct which sets out guidance and principles for safety and diversity in the workplace for employees.

Committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms. We believe that by working together with our employees, suppliers and clients we can help create a world where everyone has the right to work freely without coercion.

This Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement will be regularly reviewed and updated, as necessary.
